Your crosscut sled is large, it’s heavy, and you’re likely not using the max capacity of your “ultimate crosscut sled” very often. You need something quick, light, and easy to make accurate crosscuts without breaking your back.

Enter the Small and Mighty Crosscut Sled. I designed a high quality 15 lb sled with a max cut capacity of 10” deep by 44” wide, that will last as long as your saw.

About the Plans

The sled uses aluminum runners so that seasonal humidity changes won't bind or loosen its fit in your table saw.

A T-track along the fence allows you to to use the Veritas large flip stop in conjunction with an adhesive measuring tape so you always have an accurate and precise cut. There’s also a stop block extension that’s very simple to make to expand the stop block length from 24” to 44” long.

The plans are a .pdf file format. After purchasing, an email will be sent (separate from the order confirmation email), with a link to access the plans. You have five attempts to access and download the plans to the local storage on your device. If you don't see the email after an hour, first check your spam folder, then fill out the form on the Contact page for customer assistance.

Glad I “splurged” on the plan

After all these years of flubbing along with a miter gauge on my old saw, I finally made my first crosscut sled. I certainly could have cobbled something together based on the pix and video, but the plan saved a lot of bother and probably some mistakes too. And I like to support folks who provide so much good info in an entertaining way. The plan is very nicely laid out, and clearly illustrated. The best part is that the sled performs flawlessly. Makes me wish I’d built one years ago.

I think the plans I purchased do not have enough instruction in them. Combining the plans with the online videos I was able to figure it all out.

I haven’t been able to build it yet, but I have looked at it closely. I think it is going to be great. I enjoy your videos. You do well.
