These 9 page, step-by-step plans take you through the entire build from start to finish, with detailed renderings of the whole process.

About the Plans

This phone stand will fit any modern smart phone and is designed to allow the phone to be charging while perched. Using this stand with a tablet is untested; do so at your own risk.

The plans are a .pdf file format. After purchasing, an email will be sent (separate from the order confirmation email), with a link to access the plans. You have five attempts to access and download the plans to the local storage on your device. If you don't see the email after an hour, first check your spam folder, then fill out the form on the Contact page for customer assistance.

Accurate angle required

I have made 2 of these and plan to make more for gifts. The plans are great but the execution can be fussy. If the 30 degree edge angle is not spot on, then the ledge the phone sits on is too wide or too narrow. Also make sure that the vertical fence (part E) on the edge of the saw jig is square to the table. I found that 2 sided tape was not enough to get a good cut. I used a clamp as well.
