This was my first real project as a beginner. The plans were clear, but the videos at every step really sets this apart. I made some mistakes along the way, but never felt lost. This was the perfect project to get me started on my woodworking journey. On to the next one (now that I have a nice new jobsite saw station)!

This was so much fun to build. Scott thought of everything. The way he has everything laid out on easy to follow chapters and input/questions from others who have purchased the plans. I did have to do some major modifications for my saw and Scott helped me with all of my questions.
Learned some new skill like using a Dado(used this as an excuse to get one) and making plugs. Also I put edge banding on the saw as it was good practice and I struggled when I used it in the past
Even though I am missing 1 draw front as the build used a little more of the plywood and I had a miss cut I am saying it is done. The draw will be finished when I get more plywood for my next project in a few weeks.
If you are thinking of getting this, stop and buy it. You won't be sorry.

Thank you for the great design and detailed plans. I made a few alterations because I'm 5'0". Thankfully, I have the same Dewalt table saw that you designed around, so I basically just lopped off 2" from all of the vertical panels to bring it in closer to 34" tall. After watching your videos countless times (before and during the build!), I made a few tweaks to the order of operations since I wasn't about to be lifting that beast onto a workbench to get the base attached, etc. (not only 5' tall, but 66 yr old woman, LOL) I routed in shallow dados and rabbets to capture the parts so I wouldn't have to deal with spacing blocks. Then I used pocket screws to attach the base and installed the wheels before assembling the rest of the carcass. It all went together great!

I plan to use the left opening to store a few jigs. My original DeWalt stand was more trouble than it was worth to use the wheel function, so I would just drag it when it wasn't in a optimal position. It was also uncomfortably tall, especially when you add the 2" drop where I would be standing in my driveway to start longer boards. This is PERFECT! Now, if I could just get the rest of my shop in order.

Many thanks Scott for your video and plans. They gave me a step by step guide so I was able to complete my job saw station in my own time. I am retired and have my man cave workshop to fill my days. I found Scott to be very articulate and his attention small details during the video was excellent. I like the way you could put your own stamp on it as I did with the drawers. This course is very thorough and well constructed. I'd rate myself an advanced beginner and learned a lot through the course. The workstation itself is a valuable addition to my garage workshop, so I got a twofer: learned a lot and came away with a great tool.

Good plans, great videos to go with the plans! If you own a jobsite table saw this station is functionally great and is a good excercise in a lot of different furniture making processes. Thanks again Scott!

Excellent plans. Very detailed and well executed. One small problem I had with the plans is that parts K & J are sometimes referred to as the other. (Part K referred to as Part J and visa versa).

This makes everything I do so much faster and safer. I spent so long looking at various designs and tables and outfeed options. This was the simple and best answer for me

An awesome project, that guides you by hand to some essential woodworking skills. Does not expect any fancy tools. Well documented instructions. The end result is extremely useful addition to your workshop.

I am very pleased with the entire package. It was a good way to gain experience with the fundamentals of basic woodworking and I liked the tricks you through in along the way. I also appreciate your mode of presentation, clear and friendly. I did watch the videos repeatedly and usually caught things that I missed on the first viewings. The one place that took longer than anything else was the installation of the side and top feed panels. Those brackets were so fiddly that I had to mess with them repeatedly and putting in the bolts and nuts looked simple enough (if you have an 8mm box wrench), if not it got a little touch and go! I also found that I had to widen the notch for the bracket braces to close smoothly. These are not deal breakers, but perhaps this part could be improved on the next version. All told, I would gladly use your plans and videos in the future. Thanks, it was enjoyable and satisfying to work through these lessons and build the jobsite station.

I have been following your YouTube channel for a while. I plan on purchasing the DEWALT 7491RS, and your plans seemed like the logical next step.

The build as gone very smoothly for me so far, due to the detailed plans, and the in-depth videos. It is good to be able to back and rewatch videos corresponding to the plans, if clarification is needed. The only issue I had was finding the correct size flat fender washers due to them being "out of stock" on the amazon link. This was not a hugh deal. I just went to my local store and found the washers needed. Overall, it is an great build. I have about 20% left to complete the build. I do suggest taking your time with the build and not to rush. The payoff at the end will be worth it. I will send pictures when mine is complete. Thanks, Scott

I have received Scott's plans for the Jobsite Saw Station Plan. My initial look at it looks very complete and easy to follow. Being that I have an in-place dust collection system, I plan to repurpose the dust collection section with drawers.

Once I have it completed, I will leave a comment on Scott Walshes Youtube page with photo's.

I still haven't decided to make it yet. I have a fairly crappy jobsite saw that I made a somewhat similar station for. The fence on the table saw isn't reliably square, and I had to get the slots machined - they were smaller than the standard 19mm. And they still bind. It kind of works though.
A replacement DeWalt saw is $1000 (Australian). It would be better than what I have - definitely. Especially the fence. But it's a price that makes me hesitate. I could try EBay but with no warranty there is a risk if something is not right.
My station incorporates a router table and I have found that useful. If I was to make yours, I thought I would rotate the saw 180 degrees and put the router in the left "cabinet". I would also find some way of storing my crosscut sled somewhere on the side or something. The dust collection has never been great, I don't know if the DeWalt is better.
My main hesitation though, is nothing to do with your design and more to do with my age. I'm 78 and while I've made a number of things, particularly loudspeakers, I don't know what else I have to make. Therefore I hesitate.
However, that said, thanks for your interest in the needs of people like me working in a single car garage under my apartment.
